Division 5 – Triandrus cultivars –<\/strong> Are native to Spain with each stem produces 2-6 pendent, flowers usually with reflexed perianth segments and usually short cup (coronas). They are mid and late season bloomers. The forms vary in height from 6-18″ tall and are rarely cultivated<\/p>\n

Hardy to Zones 3-9. Plant in fall, 4-6″ deep in rich, well drained soil. They enjoy full sun in cool areas, and some shade in warmer areas. Water well during growth and allow to dry out once the leaves die down. Remove spent flowers. Apply a low nitrogen, high potash fertilizer after flowering if bulbs are not performing well.<\/p>\n
