There are about 25 species of woody deciduous vines and a few are shrubs in the grape family, in this genus. \u00a0They occur in the wild in temperate Asia and North America. Ampelopsis brevipedunculata \u2013 Ampelopsis heterophylla \u2013 Vitis heterophylla \u2013 Turquoise-Berry vine \u2013 Porcelain Vine<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This vigorous deciduous climber will twine to 15\u2019 feet or more in height. \u00a0It bears 2-6\u201d long grape like 3-5 lobed dark green leaves with hairy undersides. \u00a0In summer and autumn bears bunches of spherical berries \u00bc- 3\/8\u201d miniature grape like fruits that ripen from pale green to turquoise bright blue and violet. \u00a0It may become invasive.<\/p>\n
